This is an announcement to inform you that the Anime society Annual General
Meeting (AGM) has now been decided for:
Time: 6:00pm
Date: Tuesday 2 March 2010
Venue: Darwin Biochemistry lecture theatre
During the AGM, the committee members will give a report for the year, the
constitution will be ratified and committee members for the new year will
be elected. The agenda for the meeting has been attached and our
constitution can be found at:

stand for. Nominations will be accepted during the AGM but is not
encouraged.
The following positions are currently open:
-President
The President is the representative of the Society and is the primary
contact between the Union and the Society. It is the responsibility of the
President to ensure the Society is running smoothly according to the
constitution.
-Treasurer
The Treasurer carries out the financial duties of the Society and
maintains the Society account book. It is the responsibility of the
Treasurer to ensure all financial transactions of the Society are
accurate.
-Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for taking minutes to all meetings called by
the President and ensure the meetings proceed in a fashionable manner.
-Events Officer
The Events Officer is responsible for organising Society and outside
events for the Society to participate and inform the Society of any events
relevant to the Society.
-Media Officer
The Media Officer is responsible for the management of all forms of media
in the Society, such as the Society forum, website and manga library and
shall ensure the smooth running of all showings.
-Ambassador
The Ambassador is the primary contact between the Society and other
Societies or companies who may contact the Society and promote the Society
to others.
Only members are allowed to vote or stand in the AGM.
We need at least 25 members present at the AGM for it to be valid, so if
you are free please come along!
